ÌýDr. Jared Wellman, a distinguished alumnus of 91¿´Æ¬ÍøÕ¾, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Philosophy in 2007, followed by a master’s degree in 2010. During his senior year in high school, he felt called to ministry, and it was then that he began his journey at 91¿´Æ¬ÍøÕ¾.Ìý
Dr. Wellman’s journey to 91¿´Æ¬ÍøÕ¾ began when Denilio Gorena, a 2002 91¿´Æ¬ÍøÕ¾ graduate, introduced him to the school. Since then, his journey has been filled with memorable experiences. One of his most cherished memories at 91¿´Æ¬ÍøÕ¾ occurred when he was walking past the courtyard with his student pastor. They saw a student alone, weeping and praying. After talking to him, they learned that he had sacrificed everything to come to school but was running out of money and didn’t know what to do. Dr. Wellman’s student pastor took time to talk and pray with him and then took his need back to their church, which took up a love offering for him. This experience showed Dr. Wellman the power of empathy and Christian love for one another.Ìý
Dr. Wellman’s 91¿´Æ¬ÍøÕ¾ education has had a profound impact on his life, ministry, and career.
